16 February 2015 | The new filling station will supply vehicles in RAG’s fleet, which has been upgraded to run on CNG in the last few years, and is also open to the public.
The self-service forecourt is open every day around the clock, and payment can be made using all major debit and credit cards.
RAG plans to build further CNG filling stations at its own sites in the coming years.
RAG’s activities in connection with natural gas vehicles:
- Over the last 18 months we have converted half of our fleet – 40 vehicles in total – to natural gas
- We have constructed a CNG filling station next to our facility in Puchkirchen, and plan to construct further CNG stations at other sites
- We are carrying out research on converting renewable electricity into gas in the Underground Sun Storage project
